I'm an Indonesian student, and currently pursue bachelor degree at President University.
Sorry for my bad english, still learning though xD
One of my dreams are to travel and do something useful and impactful to others.
That's why I joined AIESEC exchange program.
I want to learn about being independent too, and get new experiences.
Because of that,
I decided to have an exchange program to TAIWAN!
I never expected to go to Taiwan before, but a lot of people said that Taiwan is a really amazing and beautiful country!
I want to exchange and do the teaching program in Asia, so I think I should visit Taiwan to be my very first destination in this exchange program :)
First! It's already the third week I'm staying in here, but I just start blogging now xD
soo 3 weeks ago, on 15th July 2012
I went to Taiwan by Tiger Airways, transit to Singapore first.
Aaand I have to wait for 10 hours for the next flight.
I was so confused and tired, because all of hotel that near by the airport's really expensive .__.
Therefore, I have to wait at the cafe in the airport for 8 hours ><.
I was bored and just skype-ing till 3 AM.
After that, I slept at the cafe till 6 AM. FINALLY! I can check in, and enter the comfy place!
But, I have some problems about my bagagge, cause my bagagge was exceeded to many kg.
So I have to buy a new bag to carried on. But you know, all of bags in Changi airport were
reallyy expensive.
When I looked around, there's a kids stuff at the corner. So I just ran to that store and finally
found a semi-expensive bag. It's okay though, this's the last time I bought an expensive bag.
But the thing is, that bag is really childish. You guys know Angry Bird? Yeah that's the bag!
Angry Bird bag! |
Everyone were looking at me with weird faces, but I just relaxed bring that bag to the airplane.
*so shame actually*
FINALLY FINALLY! After 5 hours of flight, I arrived at Taoyuan International Airport~
I was really shy because of that Angry Bird bag, so I just put it in to my big bag.
First thing that I thought that time is to contact Andy. The ICX of AIESEC Taipei University.
And I found many providers at the corner, so I just came there and find the sim card.
BUT, in Taiwan you have to be 20 years old to access the sim card. The customer service reject me after saw my passport. I was sooo confused and went to another store.
In another store, they consider this problem and gave me a sim card instead.
Yeay so I sat at the chair and change my sim card. At that time, there's a chinese man looking at me curious, and I looked at him too. But sadly, he went away and I looked he was
holding a paper written "AIESEC". That must be Andy, I thought. So I followed him, and right.
He's Andy xD. So I just followed him to take a bus, have a chit-chat, and arrived at his place.
The place's really good, just like a hotel. I never thought that the place will be like this.
It's an apartment near Taipei University.
It's a really comfy place to live :)
Okaay, that's all I think for my first story :)
I'll post the next story in a while! Thank you for reading!
